  Decor: Not that this is actually something needed for trying on dresses, but the interior design of The Modern Bride is so stunning that it has to be mentioned. It is absolutely beautiful inside, and really sets the tone for the day. They also have lots of comfortable seating for whoever you bring with you - which is nice because other places we went gave like 2 foldout chairs. Service: All the employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. Alicia helped us on my first appointment, and then when I came back the following day to try the dress on again I was helped by Jess (one of the owners). Dresses: The selection of dresses is smaller than some other places, but you can tell that they have put a lot of thought into what styles and designers they want to carry. It is still a great selection, just more of a quality over quantity type deal. I had originally wanted to try and stick to a budget if $2000, which was a bit difficult here. My max budget was $2500, and using that number gave a much wider selection. If you have a lower budget, I'd still give this place a try; but if you have a budget of $2500+ it will probably be better. They do seem to have frequent trunk shows from designers, too. You can keep up to date with those via their website or Instagram. Extras: When you say yes to the dress, they give you a glass of champagne - which is super sweet and fun. They can store your dress for you for $100, which I think is a great service. They also work with a seamstress who has 15-20 years bridal experience. You don't have to use her, but if you do they make sure everything is done on time. I haven't gotten to the alterations step yet, so I can't review her. They said she usually charges $400-600, which seems pretty standard. Oh, and they also plant a tree when you order a gown! Overall this was an amazing experience. It feels like you should have had to pay a booking fee or something, it's that nice. If you like the designers they carry (listed on website), I would 110% recommend this place.

  I had an amazing experience here. The boutique itself was beautiful and the staff were great. Jessica was so helpful and pulled the best styles that fit my body type, as well as the right size! I went to other bridal boutiques, but there was no comparison. They also made me feel beautiful during the process. I would 100% recommend the modern bride for anyone looking for the perfect wedding dress. I bought my dress here!
