  Dressings is my go-to for alterations in Guelph. It is a bit scary taking expensive or important garments in for alterations; I've had many ruined by improper alterations! The first time I went to Dressings, it was for very last minute alterations to my wedding gown. Kathy and her team saved the day, they performed couture level alterations on a very tight deadline. Since then, I've taken a wide variety of garments in to be hemmed, taken in, or totally reconstructed and Dressings has done wonderful work. The cost is reasonable and you know that you will be getting your garment back in perfect condition. Dressings also returns extra fabric to you and adds in little extras (they made buttons covered in my wedding dress fabric at no extra cost). I am very impressed by the attention to detail at this shop.
